Highmark Inc. announces National Segment President

PITTSBURGH (February 20, 2025) — Highmark Inc. (Highmark) has announced that Sophia Torielli has joined the organization as National Segment President.

In this role, Torielli is responsible for leading Highmark’s national commercial segment, accountable for new sales, client retention, healthcare consultant relations, growth strategies, and other Blue Cross Blue Shield Association activities.

At Highmark, national account business represents a crucial part of the company’s commercial book of business, representing over 1.6M members.

Torielli joins Highmark from ClearPoint Health where she served as Chief Operating Officer.

With nearly two decades of experience, she has held progressive leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Torielli served as Area President, Philadelphia Metro Region at Arthur J. Gallagher; Director, Health and Welfare Consulting at Willis Towers Watson; Senior Vice President, Managing Consultant for Employee Benefits at USI; and National Accounts Consultant at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield.
