Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield fuels family fun this winter break with free events

• Register now for free February Fun events at exciting local destinations

Buffalo, N.Y.  (February 7, 2024)  — Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is thrilled to announce its eighth annual February Fun, a week-long series of free family-friendly activities designed to keep children entertained during winter break, from Sunday, February 16 to Friday, February 21.

Continuing its cherished annual tradition, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is once again partnering with beloved community organizations to bring families a week of unforgettable fun.

This year's February Fun features free ice-skating opportunities at Ice at Canalside, the Classic Rink in East Aurora and KeyBank Center. Plus, families will be able to explore the Buffalo Museum of Science, Rolly Pollies and receive free lift tickets at Kissing Bridge on set days throughout the week.

Additionally, Highmark members are invited to an exclusive play day at Explore & More Children’s Museum on Sunday, February 16 to kick off the week-long series.

February Fun Events:

• Sun. Feb. 16, 10a.m. to 4p.m.: Highmark Member Day at Explore & More Children’s Museum
  • Free admission with Highmark member ID card
• Mon., Feb. 17, 5p.m. and 6p.m.: Free Skate at KeyBank Center, Home of the Buffalo Sabres*
• Tues., Feb. 18, 10a.m. to 12p.m.: Free Skate at Canalside
  • Free curling, bumper cars and ice aids, first come, first served
• Tues., Feb. 18, 1p.m.: Family Movie Day at Seneca One: Minions*
• Wed., Feb 19, 4 to 9p.m.: Free Admission for the first 100 visitors at Buffalo Museum of Science
• Thurs., Feb. 20, 3 to 4:45p.m.: Free Skate at Classic Rink in East Aurora
• Thurs., Feb 20, 2 to 3p.m.: Open Free Play Sessions at all three Rolly Pollies*
• Thurs., Feb 20, 10a.m. to 9p.m.: Highmark Day at Kissing Bridge
  • Free lift tickets for attendees
• Fri., Feb 21, 2 to 3p.m.: Open Free Play Sessions at all three Rolly Pollies*
  • This includes East Amherst, North Buffalo and Orchard Park

*Denotes events that require pre-registration.
