Change Healthcare has confirmed information was taken in a February cyber incident.

To the best of Highmark's knowledge, any letter(s) issued by Change Healthcare or UnitedHealth Group are legitimate and are being sent as a result of the cyber event described above.

Highmark encourages members who receive the notification letter(s) to follow the instructions within the letter and to direct any questions or concerns to Change Healthcare using the contact information in the letter(s) and on the website.

HealthEquity Data Breach

We are aware that HealthEquity, a Highmark Health vendor that provides COBRA and Commuter benefits to Highmark and AHN employees/former employees, has experienced a cyber event.

Highmark Health is working with HealthEquity to fully understand the nature and extent of the impact on our employees. HealthEquity will notify potentially impacted program participants with more details about the steps being take in response to the data exposure.
