- Local treatment options for all forms of substance abuse, including opioids

Getting Medically Necessary Treatment
With Highmark Health Options, there’s no benefit limit for mental health services and drug and alcohol treatment when medically necessary.

If your medical team suggests living in a 24/7 drug and alcohol treatment facility, your care is covered until your release date.

Intensive Outpatient Programs
When your doctor prescribes you an intensive outpatient treatment program, your participation is covered with Highmark Health Options.

Inpatient Withdrawal Management
You’re covered when health care provider orders an inpatient withdrawal management program while you end your addiction.
Use Crisis Intervention Services
Crisis Intervention Service Centers are located across the state. They’re available 24 hours a day to help people with severe personal, family, or marital problems, including depression and anxiety.
