Matt serves as the Managing Partner of Highmark Ventures. Since founding Highmark Ventures in 2010, Matt has led the team investing in innovative companies that advance Highmark Health’s enterprise vision. Matt also serves as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Investments at Highmark Health, leading M&A transactions across the enterprise.

Matt is an experienced investor and M&A executive with over 20 years of experience leading successful transactions. Prior to joining Highmark in 2005, Matt spent eight years in investment banking and corporate finance roles with Andersen Corporate Finance, Procter & Gamble and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Matt earned a B.B.A from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
